Headquartered in Hong Kong for over 20 years, Nikoyo (Holdings) Limited has been leading the operation of her four subsidiaries, namely, Nikoyo (HK) Limited, Nikoyo (Beijing) Electronics Systems Co. Limited, Zanrong Electronics Technology Co. Limited and Nikoyo Electronics Systems (Shenzhen) Co. Limited in the development of diversified computer business with a total number of employees reaching 700.

Nikoyo was assigned to be Fujitsu's distributor, introducing computer OEM concept to China users |
Both Nikoyo and Fujitsu Japan have been maintaining a close and lasting relationship since 1986 to develop business in Hong Kong and China markets. Nikoyo has been exclusively assigned as Fujitsu's authorized distributor to handle business of Fujitsu's peripherals including hard disk drive, high-speed dot matrix printer, laser line printer and scanner. Nikoyo was the first enterprise to introduce the “OEM concept” of computer peripherals to customers in both Hong Kong and China.

Nikoyo participated in setting up joint venture in China --- Nanjing Fujitsu Computer Products Co. Limited |
Being partners with Fujitsu Japan as foreign investors, Nikoyo set up a joint venture "Nanjing Fujitsu Computer Products Co. Ltd." in 1994 in cooperation with Nanjing Telecommunication Works, making domestic production of dot-matrix printers.

Nikoyo opened up hard disk drive market and can keep long-term development |
Nikoyo has been putting energetic efforts in the promotion of hard disk business by maintaining stable business relationships with prestigious PC makers in China such as IBM (Lenovo), TCL, Langchao and continuously providing Fujitsu's full range of desktop, mobile, sever hard disk drives to those manufacturers.
As soon as Fujitsu had stopped production of 3.5” desktop IDE hard disk drive few years ago, Nikoyo still tried every endeavor to introduce Western Digital (WD)'s same category of hard disk drive as a substitute to those customers. Total sales quantity of hard disk has become some million units since 1996.

In 1992, Nikoyo was the first enterprise to supply Fujitsu's disk arrays and tape drives compatible with the storage products of IBM mainframe to The Industrial and Commerce Bank of China (ICBC), representing Nikoyo's footing in the market of large-scale storage in China.

Nikoyo acted as the first enterprise in launching EMC's storage products into China market |
In 1994, Nikoyo (HK) Limited obtained the concrete demand for large-scale storage products from The Industrial and Commerce Bank of China (ICBC). We then took the initiative to source appropriate products and could finally contact EMC, USA.
As a consequence, the first step to provide large-scale storage system products such as disk arrays for China users was a significant foundation stone of Nikoyo's business development of EMC. Since then, Nikoyo had been authorized by EMC to be the only one distributor between years of 1994 and 1997, responsible for exclusively making sales and promotion of EMC's storage products.

Nikoyo became an authorized distributor of StorageTek in promotion of storage solutions |
In 1997, keeping abreast of the trend for the demand for data security backup in financial and governmental sectors, Nikoyo predicted that there would be a market boom in computer equipment and solutions for large-scale data concentration, data control, data backup and management. There came an opportunity that China Merchants Bank, who had been Nikoyo's one of the main customers for so many years, had put forward its purchasing plan of the STK products.
With China Merchants Bank's insisting on letting Nikoyo handle its purchase case, the transaction was finally concluded by Nikoyo. Since then Nikoyo strove for StorageTek's authorized distributor in 1998 in the promotion of StorageTek's tape drive, auto-tape library, disk arrays and network storage products as well as various storage solutions. Moreover, Nikoyo was awarded the prize for "Global Top Sales" in 3 consecutive years since 2002.

In 1998, with the best understanding of Nikoyo's market strength and our great user-base in China , U. S. Network Appliance then took the initiative to contact Nikoyo for the purpose of working out a business cooperation plan together.
In 2000, Nikoyo was assigned to be Network Appliance's authorized distributor and became the first enterprise to introduce unified data storage solutions for data processing, data combination, data management into sectors of finance, manufacture, medical, telecom, education, etc. During the past few years, Nikoyo has been the biggest distributor in Asian Pacific Region of Network Appliance and has held 50% sales share of overall market.

Following the success of gaining ISO9001 Quality Management Assurance, our subsidiary Nikoyo (Beijing) Electronics Systems Co. Limited was also awarded the attestation of both “Level One of the Quality Assurance of the China National Computer Information System Integration” & “Level One of the Quality Assurance of Information Security Service” in June and December of 2007 respectively, being qualified for the participation in those State projects of information system integration.
