One of the largest IT companies in Mainland would like to automate its daily internal processes to increase productivity, reduce human error and manpower. It required a process automation platform suitable for different departments including Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics and Human Resources with fast and easy deployment.

Many requirements were raised from different departments which required web and desktop automation between internal and external systems for data exchange and reporting. The development was required to be completed within a short time with 100% accuracy. However, the number of automated processes could not be limited in the server.

The engineering department of a leading logistics company required a modern solution to manage, monitor and analyze the building management and repair services.

Challenges:

The customer’s building engineering team used paper forms and excel files to monitor the building repair process. The management found it difficult to measure the KPI and time-consuming to record the repair progress and cost.

Solution:

Nikoyo Software Business designed a capturing web application to transform paper documents (job sheets, invoices, etc.) into digitalized PDFs. Users can then use the web application to handle the business process flows. All the job statuses and KPIs can be monitored in real-time and regular reports are available for management to review. Each case and its supporting documents can be retrieved in a single operation.

Background:

The customer planned to migrate the data center to a new location.

Challenges:

During the relocation of storage system to the new site, data protection had to be ensured. However, setting up a new storage system at the new site for replication was costly.

Solution:

Nikoyo loaned our own storage appliances to mirror the data from the customer’s storage system in the existing site and set up the appliances at the new site. The engineers replicated the data to the new site before relocation and mirrored the data to customer’s storage system after relocation. Disk-based restoration was performed in case of any data loss.
